We’re on the highway to the future with self-driving cars as our pilots. Google’s Self-Driving Car Project has racked up over 3,218,688 km (2,000,000 miles) since 2009 and is making its way toward fully autonomous cars taking over the road. To put their 3,218,688 km (2,000,000 miles) feat into perspective, the North and South Pole are roughly 20,004.146 km (12,430 miles) apart. If there was an imaginary road between the two, Google’s Self-Driving cars would have made 80.45 round trips so far!
